On behalf of all Vincentian volunteers and our brothers and sisters in Christ that we serve at the SVdP Food Pantry, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to the parishioners of Prince of Peace for their generous contributions to the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry. Below is the first quarter report that includes October, November, and December 2017. Our fiscal year began October 1, 2017 and ends September 30, 2018.
Expenditures for San Antonio Food Bank and related food items: $6,946.26
Number of families receiving food: 1,891
Total individuals in families: 6,911
Number of grocery bags distributed: 3,859
Financial, Thanksgiving and Christmas Assistance: $6,034.82
University Health Science Mammography Mobil Unit came to SVDP on November 29 and provided services to 20 of our sisters in Christ.
Hospital visits: 43 visits / /554 persons visited and/or received the Eucharist
Elderly visited to recite the Rosary: 18 visits / 122 recited the Rosary
Thanksgiving Gift Cards: 75 families received gift cards totaling $1165 10 families received turkeys that were donated
Christmas gift cards/gifts: 90 families/202 children received gifts and/or gift cards donated by parishioners through the Angel Tree Program totaling approximately $4,790 based on the $20 minimum donation.
Silver Creek Manor: 118 residents received gifts donated by parishioners through the Angel Tree Program
