STEP #1 - Choose your EVENT & Get approved!

There are many special moments in our lives that we want to celebrate such as Weddings, Quinceañeras, Birthdays, Post-Sacrament Celebrations, and many more. The best way to start is to figure out what kind of event you want to have and then make sure to reach out to Beckie Raymond at ministrycoordinator@princeofpeacecatholic.org to pin down some of the details such as dates, times, and events details to get approval to use our space for your event at a particular date and time. Please note all events at Prince of Peace are subject to approval considering our community is first and foremost a holy church.

Step #2 - Fill out the forms!

Right here on our website you can download all of the forms you need to make your event a wonderful occasion for all. Please review which forms are necessary for your event as directed by Beckie Raymond and download them here. You can return them to her at our Parish Office or email them scanned online at the email provided above.

Once you have returned the forms in question and obtained Approval from our Office now it is time to do the fun part and plan out your event. Here is a great F.A.Q. to help you what is possible and not possible with the space thus avoiding any future disappointment that could occur and making your event as happy as possible.

Frequently Asked Questions

Hall Rental

  • Do you rent out the Hall? Yes.
  • How much do you charge?  Is there a different charge for parishioners vs. non-parishioners? For tithing parishioners the fee is $75/hour.  For non-parishioners the fee is $150/hour.
  • What’s the Deposit Fee?  There is a non-refundable $75 deposit due at the time of scheduling.  There is also a $75 Damage Fee due at the time of scheduling.  Once the event is over, and a walk through will be completed to make sure the Hall has been left in satisfactory condition. This Damage fee will be refunded to the renter within 30 days.  
  • How many people does the Hall hold? 175 people
  • Is there a time limit? 4, 6, 8 hours?  Is there a set time we need to be out of the Hall? Midnight. There is 6 hour limit.  One hour for set-up, 4 hours for the event and one hour for tear down and clean-up.  
  • Do we need to hire security? Security officers are necessary when the number of people exceeds 99 people and/or when alcohol is served.  Prince of Peace will supply Security Officers.  This is additional cost and will be included in the rental fee.
  • Can we have alcohol at our event? Yes.  
  • Is there someone on staff to help us with questions during our event, should we have any? We will provide you with a name and a number should you have questions during your event.
  • Do you provide set-up of tables and chairs? No.
  • Do you provide AV equipment? No.
  • Do I need to clean up after my event?  Yes.
  • What happens if I need to cancel my event? Do I get my money back? Any person or organization holding a reservation for the use of the Fellowship Hall and desiring to cancel such a reservation, may at the discretion of the Prince of Peace staff, be subject to the withholding of all or a portion of the rental cost paid.  
  • Does the Hall have a kitchen we can use? Yes, this also must be cleaned and all food must be taken with you once your event is done.

Use of the Church

  • Is there a fee to have a Funeral? The fee for a funeral is $150.00.  A musician and music for the Funeral Mass is an additional charge of $150.00. 
  • What if I want to have a reception after a funeral for family and friends?  Is the Hall available for use? The Hall is available most weekdays after 12:30pm. Rental of the Hall is an additional and separate cost.
  • How early do I need to plan for a Wedding, Quinceañera? Six months in advance.   
  • What is the fee to have a Wedding?  $400
  • What is the fee for a Quinceañera? $400
  • Is there a fee for the priest? There is an Honorarium fee for the priest or deacon that goes directly to the church.
