About the Prince of Peace Sacristans

The Sacristan is responsible for the care and setup of all liturgical books, vessels, linens, such as the chalice, paten, ciboria, purificatory, wine cups and holy water offertory cruets, lavabo bowl, thurible, altar colors and any other item needed for the Mass celebration, depending on the type of service.  This can range from daily Mass, weekend Mass, baptisms, funerals, etc.  (Used with permission from Today’s Catholic)

Since sacred vessels require special care; our sacristan cleans the chalice in a very delicate manner.
