Bringing up the gifts at Mass is not just a practical thing; it’s a beautiful, spiritual action that dates back to the early Church. It is an honor because of what the gifts represent and what you represent when you carry them forward.

Sign up for you and your family to Bring Up the Gifts at Mass!

When you walk down the aisle, you are acting as a representative of everyone in the pews—the entire parish community, and in a sense, the whole Church. We all have gifts, work, and sacrifices we offer to God, and you physically bring those offerings forward.

Many people find that bringing up the gifts makes the Mass feel more personal and meaningful. Families often volunteer to do it together to share the experience.

There is no special training required; it is a simple process: you will be directed to collect the bread, wine, and collection just before the Liturgy of the Eucharist begins, and then you simply process up the aisle to present them to the priest.
