Young adults have many gifts to offer the Church: their faith, their hope, their desire to serve, their spiritual hunger, their vitality, their optimism and idealism, their talents and skills. The world also looks with hope to young adults to bring about a better future.

Prince of Peace Catholic Church Young Adult Ministry

Why join

We are a band of brothers and sisters united through spiritual combat fighting for the sanctity of the Church and Her mission. We meet weekly to discuss the issues that young adults face in today's society and to help each other grow in knowing, loving, and serving God.

Join Us Thursdays from
6:30 - 8:30 PM in Room 207

  • What to Expect:

    • We unpack socially relevant topics facing young adults, so we prefer group discussion over lecture.

    • We have frequent community nights to grow our relationships with each other.

    • We host special events and encourage social gatherings outside of our regular meeting times.

    • We incorporate media from trusted, age-appropriate Church authorities, and we leave room for members to explore relevance and implementation in their own lives.

    • We refer to the Word of God, the Catechism, Church doctors, and modern authors as a means of continued self-education.

  • Who We Are:

    • Our members represent the diversity of young adults within the Church and world. We are all at different stages in our walk with God. Some of us struggle with habitual sins. Some attend church infrequently or have fallen away from the church altogether and are seeking a community of faith, hope, and love. Others have the basics down but want to grow deeper in the faith. No matter our diversity, all of us have an innate hunger for God, and we come to meetings in the Upper Room to be fed spiritually and physically (we have snacks!).
